Family Heritage
It was 1930, when an aspiring young man traveled the seas from Guangzhou to Malaysia in the hope of seeking fortune. That was my grandfather. He worked hard in the plantation and saved enough money to own land to plant his own produce. In 1961, he successfully planted the Segamat Durian that instantly brought the little town to fame. The plantations were passed on to my father’s care who planted the Musang King, King of Kings.
Now passing on the baton to me – the third generation, aspiring to bring back the goodness of durians back to China. 3 generations of durian planting, inheritance passionately handed down. A single sentiment of longing for where we are from, Heritage Durian – nostalgia for the past.
Fan Family Agriculture Sdn Bhd
Fan Family Agriculture Sdn Bhd is the brain child of Fan Family, head-quartered in Kuala Lumpur and supplying durians locally to Malaysia, exporting to Singapore and China. It aspires towards the goal to becoming the leading durian exporter in this region. With strategic alliances formed with plantation owners and its own durian plantations in the Malaysia Peninsula, it is established to command a strong and consistent supply chain of durians all year round.

It’s always tough to find authentic durian from Malaysia in Hong Kong, even when you do it’s always overpriced. Heritage durians provides a simple and cheaper solution to get fresh durians from Malaysian to Hong Kong. It’s shipped directly to my door!
